3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Orlando Magic. He came down with a non-COVID illness on Tuesday and it forced him to miss Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat. Rodney McGruder (hamstring) stepped into the starting five with Cunningham out, but didn't do much, scoring eight points over 20 minutes. McGruder is questionable himself for Thursday's game and starting power forward Jerami Grant (knee) is out with right knee inflammation so the Pistons could be very short-handed. Point guard Killian Hayes would certainly see increased minutes if Cunningham were to sit. The second-year guard dished out eight assists over 30 minutes in Tuesday's game.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
