6 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah suffered a facial laceration in the preseason game Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. Uzomah made an impact before departing, snagging two balls for 30 yards on his two targets, including a nice 23-yard catch and run. He has had a regular role in recent seasons since Tyler Eifert has dealt with a myriad of injuries, but as long as Eifert, Tyler Kroft and hybrid Ryan Hewitt are healthy, the wound to his face might not be the only cut Uzomah endures this month. He can be avoided by most fantasy owners unless Eifert or Kroft go down with a substantial ailment.--Daniel Dobish
