1 year agoNew York Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah (leg) was placed on the PUP list on Wednesday. The veteran twisted his leg during OTAs, although he avoided a significant injury. The 30-year-old spent his entire career in Cincinnati before signing with the Jets last offseason. He appeared in 15 games in 2022-23, accumulating 21 catches for 232 yards and two touchdowns. There's still a chance he will be ready for the opener. However, Uzomah isn't expected to be a reliable fantasy producer. But with Aaron Rodgers under center, Uzomah may have more than a few potent performances throughout the 2023-24 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
