C.J. Cron Sets New Personal Seasonal High In Homers
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron set a new milestone in his career Sunday versus the Mets. He blasted a three-run homer (second hardest hit home run for the Rays since they started tracking it in 2015). It was his 17th of the season, which is the most in his career. Cron had hit 16 in each of the previous three seasons. He is up to 42 RBI on the season. He is currently batting .244, which has severely dropped as the season has gone on. Also worth noting is that he accumulated most of his 2017 stats and fantasy value in the second half of last season. He is not a shallow league standout, but he definitely has value in deeper leagues.
