C.J. Cron Hits His 26th Homer
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron showed off the power that is his main value Sunday versus Cleveland. He would drill a solo homer to put the team up 2-0. The drive was his 26th of the season. He has surpassed his previous best total for a season by 10 already. He is batting .256 with 26 HR and 61 RBI in 2018. Cron recently appeared like he might be traded before the end of August after he was placed on the waiver process. The time has passed so he is likely to remain with the team. Cron has some value in deep leagues due to his power numbers but little else.
