C.J. Cron Drives In Two Runs Thursday Versus Baltimore
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron drove in two more runs Thursday versus the Orioles. He has driven in four runs in the past two games. He now is tied for the team RBI lead with Denard Span at 17. The two runs came on his sixth home run of the season. Cron has tempting power, as he has hit 16 home runs in each of the past three seasons while not playing more than 116 games. He is currently batting .264, which is not as harmful as many late-round power options. Also worth noting is that he accumulated most of his 2017 stats and fantasy value in the second half of last season. He is not a shallow league standout but he definitely has value in deeper leagues.
