C.J. Anderson A Low-End Depth Option
5 years agoDetroit Lions running back C.J. Anderson finds himself backing-up one of the highest upside young running backs, Kerryon Johnson, this year after signing a one year deal with the Lions. Anderson should see around 10 touches per game and has the chance of seeing some goal line touches but has little upside as long as Johnson isn't injured. For that reason, Anderson doesn't offer all that much fantasy value other than in deep leagues (12+ teams). If Johnson is to get injured, Anderson's fantasy value goes up significantly; he may become a middle of the road RB2 option.
