3 years agoMedia mogul Byron Allen, who owns the entertainment company Entertainment Studios, told Bloomberg in an interview on Tuesday that he is preparing to submit a bid to purchase the Denver Broncos. If the purchase winds up going through, it would make Allen the first Black majority owner of an NFL franchise. Allen was first approached about purchasing an NFL franchise back in November 2019, when he met with Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft. As Allen stated his intentions to Bloomberg, he added, "After serious consideration, I strongly believe I can help effectuate positive changes throughout the league."--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
