Byeong Hun An's Putting Woes Continue
6 years agoByeong Hun An produced a share of 41st place at the WGC-HSBC Champions. The South Korean wasn't brilliant with any part of his game on the week, but An continues to struggle immensely with his putter. The 27-year-old yielded 1.800 putts per green in regulation, good for 55th best in the field. While that statistic in itself is troubling, it probably doesn't tell the whole story because An was able to present a Sunday putting display where that number was 1.636, which distorted his average on the week. The 48th-ranked player in the world has shown himself to be a world-class ball-striker, but An will continue to struggle until he can figure out how to fix his abysmal putting performances.
