Buster Posey Says Hip Feels Better That It Has In A Long Time
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey said that his hip is feeling better than it has in a long time, and because of that he is able to turn on pitches better, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Posey underwent surgery in 2018 to treat a torn labrum and hip impingement, and during the procedure it was discovered he also had a microfracture on his hip. It looks like the year off in 2020 has helped Posey recover well, as he now has homered twice in his first two games. Managers might want to consider grabbing Posey off the waiver-wire, as it's possible he could have a bounce-back year at the plate.
