5 months agoThe Chicago Bulls have selected forward Matas Buzelis from the G-League Ignite with the 11th pick in the NBA draft. The lengthy Lithuanian-American was a consensus five-star recruit before he decided to go directly into the G League with the Ignite instead of opting for college. In 26 appearances for the Ignite last season, Buzelis averaged 14.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 2.1 turnovers while registering shooting splits of .445/.273/.679. The 19-year-old has great ball-handling skills at his size and very good defensive instincts.
