6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris experienced soreness on the inside of his right index finger during Wednesday's game. He reportedly felt it especially when throwing a sinker or a cutter. He ended up pitching a scoreless inning, but said the pain was something he would have to monitor. For now, Norris is likely looking at a couple of days off, but a disabled list trip is possible if the pain does not improve. Jordan Hicks would seem to be next in line for saves if Norris does indeed miss extended time.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
