With Leonard Fournette cutting ties with Tampa, parting ways with Smith is another way the organization can clear some much-needed cap space. The 29-year-old was selected by the Bucs in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft and has been a vital component of the protection unit, including helping the team defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.
