Bucs Defense Expected To Rebound In Week 5
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense/special teams were shredded by the Kansas Chiefs in Week 4, allowing 417 yards of total offense and 41 points in last Sunday's loss. Heading into Week 4, Tampa Bay had allowed just 27 points total in the team's first three games and will look to rebound in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta will be without running back/wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and tight end Kyle Pitts, expecting the team to lean favorably towards the run with rookie Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley. Tampa has been tough against the run and ranks third in rush DVOA this season. The Bucs should stymie Atlanta's offense and bounce back after an abysmal Week 4 performance, making them a top-five option in Week 5.
