Buccaneers Agree To Three-Year Deal With Ben Bredeson
2 mins agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to an undisclosed three-year deal on Monday to re-sign offensive guard Ben Bredeson, according to NFL Network's Sara Walsh. Bredeson will return for his second season in Tampa after signing for one year last March. The 27-year-old started all 17 regular-season games for the Buccaneers in his first year with the team last year and figures to return as the team's starting left guard in 2025. Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Bredeson's deal is worth $22 million, according to a source. The former fourth-round pick out of Michigan in 2020 became Tampa's starter last year after Sua Opeta tore his ACL in training camp. Bredeson had a run-block win rate of 70.5%, which ranked 19th among guards in the NFL. His pass-block win rate of 91.6% was 17th in the league. Bredeson allowed only 10 total sacks.
