2 years agoBubba Wallace may have been as surprised as anyone after qualifying ninth for Sunday's race at Las Vegas. Toyota cars are running fast and 23XI Racing could not be too bad of an option for Sunday. Wallace was only 0.413 seconds off the time of Tyler Reddick on Saturday. His practice lap times were reasonable. After Ryan Blaney blew out a tire, Wallace basically reiterated that he was not pushing it on the car. That was a smart move and Wallace has a slight chance to move up into an even better position on Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
