Bubba Wallace Earns His First Top-Five Finish At Martinsville Speedway
8 months agoOn Sunday afternoon, Bubba Wallace finished fourth in the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway. Sunday's race was a big day for the 23XI star as it was his first top-five finish at the famed "Paperclip." Interestingly, although he started on the front row and spent 99.3% of the race in the top 15, Wallace did not lead a single lap in Sunday's 415-lap race. Despite not leading at any point, the eight-year Cup veteran still delivered tremendous value in DFS as he scored 51.95 DraftKings points on a salary of just $7,700. Considering this was his third top-10 finish in his last four starts at Martinsville, the No. 23 will be a driver to consider when the Cup Series returns here in early November. Wallace will now look to build off of Sunday's strong finish next weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, a track he finished third and led 111 laps at last fall.
