Bryson Stott Getting A Breather Monday
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Bryson Stott is getting the night off Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks and left-hander Tommy Henry. While Stott has been seeing heavy playing time at the keystone this season, the timing of his absence is interesting as he has collected five hits -- including a double and a triple -- with two runs and two RBI over his last two contests. The 25-year-old is up to a .292 average with five homers, nine stolen bases, and a .739 OPS across 274 plate appearances this season, putting him on the fantasy bubble in shallow leagues in the process. Veteran Josh Harrison will take over at second base and hit seventh against Henry Monday night in Arizona.
