Bryse Wilson To Serve As Bulk Reliever On Wednesday
23 seconds agoChicago White Sox manager Will Venable said that right-hander Bryse Wilson will serve as the team's bulk reliever after an opener for Wednesday's game against the division-rival Minnesota Twins. Wilson threw a season-high three innings in relief back on April 4 against the Detroit Tigers and might be asked to go around that length in Wednesday's game, but he still won't be worth streaming in any fantasy leagues. The 27-year-old reliever has made nine appearances out of the bullpen so far in his first year in Chicago in 2025 and is sporting a 4.50 ERA (6.79 FIP) and 1.58 WHIP with three walks and eight strikeouts in 12 innings pitched. Wednesday's start was originally lined up to be veteran left-hander Martin Perez's (elbow) day, but he's now on the 60-day injured list.
