Bryse Wilson Picks Up Seven Strikeouts Friday
6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Bryse Wilson turned in an excellent outing in his team's 7-2 win over the Boston Red Sox on Friday. Wilson entered the game in relief with two outs in the first inning and wound up matching his career-high with seven strikeouts in the game. He finished with two earned runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings to earn the win. Wilson now has a 3-1 record, 2.86 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts over 13 appearances (six starts). The veteran right-hander doesn't have big strikeout numbers but he's shown the ability to suppress the opposing team's run production, making him worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues moving forward.
