Bryce Harper Crushes Homer Tuesday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks, and a pair of runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals. Harper's home run was a mammoth blast, as it left his bat at an exit velocity of 107.1 MPH and traveled 433 feet. The 28-year-old slugger owns a strong .293/.426/.566 slash line with seven homers and has a Statcast page littered in red, including 95th-percentile or better marks in expected batting average, slugging, and walk rate. Harper seems to be past the wrist issue that bothered him last week, and it should be all systems go for the superstar outfielder, who should have no trouble returning early-round value for fantasy managers.
