5 months agoSan Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge is putting together a productive season at Single-A San Jose. In 45 games, he has nine homers and 40 RBI to go with a .811 OPS. The 6-foot-7 slugger has 60-grade power and recently gave up pitching to focus on the hitting. The former two-way prospect is just 19 years old, and his success at Single-A is a good sign that he is ready to progress rapidly through the farm season for the Giants. The franchise's No. 3 prospect could be looking at a promotion to High-A soon.
