Bryce Eldridge Rips Two Doubles
Bryce Eldridge continued a torrid stretch at High-A Eugene with a pair of doubles on Thursday. The 19-year-old has five multi-hit games in his last nine games and is slashing .305/.429/.457 in 29 High-A contests. Between Single-A and High-A this season, Eldridge is hitting .277 with 13 homers and 68 RBI. The Giants' No. 2 prospect is impressing at a young age as he progresses through the minors this season. The 2023 first-round selection offers a ton of power potential in his left-handed swing and should be a future fantasy stalwart at first base although it could be a few years before we see him in a Giants' uniform.

Bryce Eldridge Placed On Double-A Injured List
Bryce Eldridge (wrist) on the Double-A 7-day injured list. The 20-year-old sustained this injury during spring training and will now miss the start of the Double-A regular season. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he may not miss too much time, since he was only placed on the 7-day injured list. Eldridge is considered the top prospect in the San Francisco system and the No. 24-best in the sport. Last season, the 20-year-old opened the campaign at Low-A and was able to reach Triple-A by the final month. Across 108 games between Low-A, High-A, and Double-A, Eldridge held a strong .293/.376/.534 slash line. Through his brief eight-game taste of Triple-A, he tallied seven hits. The former 16th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft should push for a late-season MLB debut.

Bryce Eldridge Resumes Playing
Bryce Eldridge (wrist) has resumed playing in camp, but the team has not made a decision on where he will begin his campaign. Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay noted that the team may send their top prospect to their Double-A or Triple-A, but wants to be "extremely" careful with his sore wrist. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status early in the campaign as he begins to increase his workload. Eldridge was drafted with the 16th selection in the 2023 MLB Draft out of James Madison HS. Last summer, he opened the campaign at Low-A but eventually reached Triple-A. Across 116 games in the minor leagues, Eldridge posted a .291/.374/.516 slash line with 27 doubles and 23 home runs. If he were to continue to perform at this level this season, he should push for an MLB debut later in the summer.

Bryce Eldridge Will Not Play On Saturday
Bryce Eldridge (hand) will not play in Saturday's Spring Breakout contest. Eldridge was scratched from the lineup due to left hand soreness. However, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area noted that this injury is believed to be minor. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his status, but given this report, he should be in any danger of missing the start of the minor-league regular season. The Giants drafted Eldridge with the 16th-overall selection in the 2023 MLB Draft. The 20-year-old is considered the top prospect in the San Francisco system. Last summer, Eldridge began the season in Single-A and was able to end the season at the Triple-A level. Across 116 contests in the minor leagues, the infielder held a strong .291/.374/.516 line. If he continues to produce well in Triple-A, he could be in contention for a 2025 MLB debut.

Giants Send Marco Luciano, Bryce Eldridge To Minor-League Camp
Marco Luciano and reassigned infielder Bryce Eldridge to minor-league camp on Wednesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser. Per MLB Pipeline, Eldridge is considered the Giants' top prospect in 2025. Additionally, the Giants optioned right-hander Mason Black (No. 12) and reassigned left-handers Raymond Burgos, Miguel Del Pozo and Ethan Small, and right-handers Kai-Wei Teng and Cole Waites to minor-league camp. After being moved from shortstop to the outfield this spring, the 23-year-old Luciano will open the year at Triple-A Sacramento after going only 2-for-19 in spring training. If he's back in San Fran in 2025, it will likely be in a reserve outfield role. Eldridge, 20, went 2-for-11 with a homer and two RBI in eight spring games. While he's certainly stash-worthy in dynasty leagues, given his age, he definitely could use more minor-league seasoning.
