Bryan Woo Tosses Seven Scoreless Innings In Win
4 months agoSeattle Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo threw a gem in his team's 10-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday. Woo tossed seven innings of shutout ball while allowing five hits, no walks, and striking out six to earn the win. The 24-year-old's quality start improved his record to 5-1 on the season, to go along with a 2.08 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts over 60 2/3 innings of work. Woo has missed time this season due to two separate stints on the injured list but he appears to be fully healthy and is hitting his stride as the season comes down to the final two months. He should be a solid mid-rotation starting pitcher in fantasy leagues moving forward.
