Bryan Woo Loses Perfect Game Bid In Seventh inning
2 years agoSeattle Mariners No. 6 ranked prospect Bryan Woo took a perfect game into the seventh inning during his most recent outing for Double-A Arkansas. Woo finished with seven scoreless innings, surrendering two hits with seven strikeouts. The performance lowered the 23-year-old's ERA to 1.93 on the season, including a 0.71 WHIP, 2.59 FIP, and 37.1% strikeout rate through six appearances. Coming off Tommy John surgery, Woo impressed during his debut campaign in 2022, and he continues to establish himself as a premier arm in the Mariners' system. Woo doesn't project to hit the majors until 2024, but his progress is remarkable, and he could emerge as a valuable fantasy asset in the near future.
