Bryan Reynolds Goes Hitless, Whiffs Three Times
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in a 4-0 shutout loss to the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday. As evidenced by the score, the Pirates were ice cold at the dish in this one, they collected just five hits as a team. As for Reynolds, his struggles continue. He's batting just .185 over the last seven contests (27 at-bats) and has no RBI over that span. The 28-year-old has not gone deep since April 7 and is slashing a paltry .216/.273/.314 in the month of May. Overall, Reynolds has a solid .286/.327/.487 triple-slash line to go along with five home runs, 23 RBI, and six stolen bases over 154 at-bats. He's a decent buy-low option at the moment if you can find a fantasy manager that is frustrated with the recent lack of production.
