Bryan Reynolds Activated, Starting On Monday
2 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates have activated outfielder Bryan Reynolds (oblique) from the 10-day injured list. He is included in the starting lineup for Monday's game against right-hander Adrian Sampson and the Chicago Cubs. He'll be covering center field and batting second in the game. Reynolds was on the shelf for about two weeks due to a right oblique strain. The 27-year-old has slashed .261/.343/.465 with 15 home runs, 32 RBI and 40 runs over 83 games this year. In a corresponding move, the team placed fellow outfielder Jake Marisnick (toe) on the 10-day injured list.
