6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Bryan Mitchell (elbow) will return to the rotation Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Mitchell’s missed nearly three months due to an elbow impingement and was activated from the disabled list on September 1. Prior to the injury, Mitchell was awful across 12 appearances (seven starts), with a 7.08 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 0.6 strikeout-to-walk ratio. It makes sense for the rebuilding Padres to see what Mitchell has to offer but fantasy owners should steer clear.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
