Bryan Abreu Collects Second Straight Save
2 years agoHouston Astros reliever Bryan Abreu was called upon in a save situation for the second game in a row and was once again successful in closing the game out. It is an interesting development, as presumed closer Ryan Pressly should have been available after resting yesterday. Manager Dusty Baker said that Pressly was unavailable, but did not give a reason why. It is something to watch, as Abreu has been excellent this year, posting a 0.79 ERA and 0.88 WHIP, and Pressly now only has one of Houston's five saves on the season.
