2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol was unable to pitch in Thursday's 5-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks due to back tightness, according to Bill Plunkett. There's no word on if the right-hander will be given the green light in the next game on Friday or if he'll need another day off. Graterol is looking to finally make the stride into the high-leverage guy the club thought they were trading for in 2020. Last season, Graterol was solid, posting a 3.26 ERA, but with just a 21.8% strikeout rate, and he's started this year with a 4.50 ERA with no strikeouts across two innings. Expect the 24-year-old to pitch in the later stages of games this season, contributing his fair share of holds and a few saves when Evan Phillips and Alex Vesia aren't available.--Spencer Seguin
