Brusdar Graterol Notches First Save
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Brusdar Graterol picked up a two-innings save Sunday, preserving a 7-3 win over the Chicago Cubs. The big righty came in with a 5-3 lead in the eighth inning and remained in for the ninth after the Dodgers extended their lead. He lowers his ERA to 2.53 and WHIP to 1.03 with the solid outing. With usual closer Evan Phillips currently on paternity leave, Graterol was given a chance to close this one out. Should Phillips stumble, it appears Graterol is second in line for save opportunities.
