Browns Now Leaning Towards Drafting Travis Hunter?
46 seconds agoAfter previously being pretty sure that the Cleveland Browns would take a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, ESPN's Adam Schefter said on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday that signs are now pointing to Cleveland using the second overall pick on University of Colorado two-way player Travis Hunter. The Browns wanted to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 2 pick, but now it's become clear that the Tennessee Titans are going to hold onto the top pick to take Ward. Schefter says the Browns could take Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter to pair him with All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett, but the current intel he's received points to their pick being Hunter. The Browns really liked what they saw out of the Heisman Trophy winner at his Pro Day last Friday, and Schefter believes they view him more as a receiver than as a defensive back.
