Browns Expected To Take QB With No. 2 Overall Pick
51 seconds agoESPN's Adam Schefter said the thing that he's most comfortable and confident in for the upcoming 2025 NFL draft is that the Cleveland Browns will select a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick. Deshaun Watson (Achilles) tore his Achilles last year and has needed multiple surgeries to address the injury, so he's a question mark to even be able to play in 2025. Not only do the Browns need a signal-caller for the upcoming season, but they need financial relief with basically all of their money tied up with Watson. If the Tennessee Titans pass on a QB with the first overall pick, the Browns would have their choice of their favorite quarterback at No. 2, which would most likely come down to either Miami's Cam Ward or Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. In addition to drafting a QB, the Browns could also consider signing Kirk Cousins (if the Falcons release him) as a veteran bridge QB.
