Browns Defense A Solid Option In Week 6
2 years agoThe Cleveland Browns defense has struggled to prevent opposing offenses from scoring this season, but they may get a break in a home matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 6. The Patriots are likely to start fourth-round draft pick Bailey Zappe at quarterback with both Mac Jones (ankle) and Brian Hoyer (concussion) dealing with injuries. The Pats are likely to lean heavily on the run game on Sunday, which has been a problem area for Cleveland's defense in 2022. That being said, this game has a low 43-point over/under and the Browns have Myles Garrett going up against a rookie quarterback making just his second NFL start. That keeps the Cleveland defense in the conversation as a top-12 option for Week 6.
