Brooks Lee Activated Off Injured List, Starting On Sunday
1 day agoMinnesota Twins infielder Brooks Lee (back) was activated off the injured list prior to Sunday's contest against the Detroit Tigers. He is set to make his season debut this afternoon against the Tigers. He will bat eighth and cover the hot corner. In a corresponding move, the Twins optioned infielder Jose Miranda to Triple-A St. Paul. Miranda enjoyed a productive 2024 season, posting a .284/.322/.441 slash line but was unable to find his footing early in the 2025 campaign. Through the first 12 games, he has held a .167 AVG with just one extra-base hit. Fantasy managers should expect Lee to see several opportunities in the starting nine on a daily basis, given his ability to play third base, second base, and shortstop. Last summer, Lee held a .221/.265/.320 line during his rookie campaign.
