Brooks Kriske Demoted On Friday
3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Brooks Kriske was sent packing back to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday. The demotion isn't a surprise, especially after his horrendous performance on Thursday against the Boston Red Sox. The 27-year-old is currently sitting on a 10.80 ERA throughout seven big league appearances this year, so he can be dropped in all formats. Jonathan Loaisiga (illness) was activated from the COVID-19 injured list and will take a spot on the roster. The righty owns a 7-3 record this season, with 46 strikeouts, 10 holds, and two saves throughout 47 innings. Managers in leagues that reward for holds should undoubtedly pick him up if he is still available for some reason.
