Brooks Koepka Will Try To Three-Peat The PGA Championship
4 years agoA statistical model isn't going to help you land on Brooks Koepka if you are looking for a reason to play the back-to-back PGA Championship winner, but there are signs beginning to form that the four-time major winner might have a legitimate chance to take home his third straight victory. Koepka hasn't finished outside 15th place at the PGA Championship since 2014, and his second-place showing last weekend at TPC Southwind will get the wheels turning for some that the train is back on track. We don't want to look too much into last week's effort because it is a venue where he has now produced four top-three finishes since 2015, but any form of life should be viewed a positive for the sixth-ranked player in the world. If you believe Koepka is a big-game hunter that is going to show up again, you have answered your own question. However, there are still concerns that things aren't where they should be entering the week.
