1 week agoBrooks Koepka finished T18 at last week's LIV Miami and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Masters Tournament at Augusta National. This season in the LIV Golf League, Koepka has two top-10 finishes and has not finished lower than tied for 35th in any of his five starts. Last year at the Masters Tournament, he finished tied for 45th. Over the past 12 months, Koepka ranks in the 95th percentile for proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is significant because over 37% of approach shots at last year's Masters came from this distance. Koepka could be a strong addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

9 months agoBrooks Koepka missed The Open in 2016, so this week will be his first visit to Royal Troon in Scotland. The five-time major winner has claimed one victory on the LIV Tour this season, but he's been largely disappointing otherwise, failing to log a top-25 finish in any of the previous three majors this year. Despite the questionable run of form recently and the fact that his last two appearances in The Open have been poor, Koepka still costs a pricey $9,000 on DraftKings. Fantasy managers looking to catch lightning in a bottle will likely get the 34-year-old at low ownership this week.--Tommy Bell

10 months agoBrooks Koepka finished tied for ninth at last week's LIV Houston, marking his third straight top-10 finish in LIV events, including one win during that time. Koepka will now prepare for this week's U.S. Open at Pinehurst, where he has historically performed well. In 2023, he finished T17, 55th in 2022, and tied for fourth in 2021. Pinehurst will be a tough challenge for golfers this week, with an emphasis on accuracy on approach shots. Over the past 12 months, Koepka ranks in the 75th percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. Considering his recent form and past success at the U.S. Open, Koepka could be worth considering for DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

11 months agoAfter a two-shot victory in Singapore over the other biggest names the breakaway league possesses, it has the entire golfing world -- especially the bettors and DFS players -- ready to put Brooks Koepka at the top of the board near Scottie Scheffler's and Roy McIlroy's odds. The 34-year-old has undoubtedly been the most dominant Major Championship competitor this generation, with five total to his name. However, the strategy for playing him in lineups will be the hope of him outperforming the other two names mentioned above, as they will most likely be the most popular plays. With a T15 here in 2014 and a golf game that has been on a consistent rise since his flat performance at Augusta (he has gained over 19 strokes total on the field over his last two starts), Koepka is as appealing a play as ever on the DFS front. But the presumption that he will outshine the other two hottest players in the game is a tall order that even he will have trouble achieving.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller

2 years agoBrooks Koepka heads to the Open Championship looking for major No. 6. He has been fantastic in major championships this season, winning the PGA Championship, finishing T2 at the Masters and finishing T17 at the U.S. Open. Koepka has great links-golf experience since he began his career on the Challenge Tour in Europe. He has carried that over into the Open Championship, finishing inside the top 10 four times in his last six tries. The 33-year-old is near the top of the odds list this week, and deservingly so, as his game is in great form. Expect for him to compete this week.--Matt Miller - RotoBaller
