The Denver Broncos selected their third wide receiver of the 2020 NFL Draft in the seventh round when they picked Tyrie Cleveland out of Florida. Cleveland won't contribute immediately playing behind first- and second-round picks Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, in addition to Courtland Sutton. He'll likely begin his career on special teams but has the physical capabilities to develop into a solid wideout. He runs the full route tree and has good playmaking ability after the catch.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland (neck) was involved in a scary incident during Thursday's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. He was unable to haul in a pass, after which a Browns defensive back fell on his neck. The medical staff was able to stabilize Cleveland and carted him off the field. Cleveland has movement in all of his extremities, which is great to hear. Hopefully, this is only a minor injury and Cleveland can get back on the field soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland caught 5-of-10 targets and gained 68 yards during the team's 20-19 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The former seventh-round draft pick started the game as the top receiver for Philadelphia and played for most of the contest. The four-pack of A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins, and Olamide Zaccheaus rested with most of the other starters on offense, giving Cleveland a chance to put his talent on display in hopes of making the final roster. Besides the previously mentioned four receivers, no one is a lock to make the team. Drawing 10 targets while working with the three backup quarterbacks was a good start for the former Denver Bronco. His main competition, Greg Ward (leg), left the game early after reportedly having cramps. If Cleveland can continue to draw targets when on the field for the next two weeks, there is a shot that he will make the final roster. If not, the 25-year-old should be a near-lock to make the practice squad.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland was forced into a bigger role in Sunday's 16-9 Week 2 win over the Houston Texans when Jerry Jeudy (shoulder) was injured in the first half. Jeudy never returned to the game and could be questionable to play in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. Cleveland caught two of his three targets in the game for 28 yards. The 24-year-old was well behind Courtland Sutton's 11 targets. Kendall Hinton caught his only target for a 20-yard gain. If Jeudy cannot play next weekend, Cleveland and Hinton will have bigger roles yet again, but they aren't really worth a waiver-wire pickup, even in deeper leagues. If anything, running backs Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon III will soak up more targets from quarterback Russell Wilson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland (ankle) went down in scary fashion at practice on Monday, but he just suffered a sprained ankle, according to a source. His Achilles is intact and he didn't break anything, so he avoided a serious injury. Cleveland was carted off the field after getting injured on the final play of practice. The seventh-round pick in 2020 will have to miss some time, but he could be fully ready for training camp next month. The 24-year-old from Florida has just six receptions on 10 targets for 63 yards in 17 games (no starts) in his first two seasons in the NFL and remains buried on the Broncos crowded receiver depth chart heading into his third season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
