Broncos Cut De'Angelo Henderson
6 years agoWe officially live in a world where Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch makes a 53-man roster over an eternally more promising running back De'Angelo Henderson - as the latter missed the cut Saturday. Henderson, a second-year back out of Coastal Carolina, looked special at times with the ball in his hands. Many even favored him over the incumbent Devontae Booker. All of which simply adds to the concern over how Denver is handling this backfield. Rookie Royce Freeman is clearly the most talented, but holding onto Booker can easily be interpreted as support of the love affair with Booker. It'll be interesting to see how the situation plays itself out once the regular season kicks off. Denver faces one of the more RB-friendly schedules this season and will host a Seattle team in Week 1 which allowed 114 rushing yards per game in 2017.
