Broncos Agree With Chris Manhertz
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos reached an agreement with former Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Chris Manhertz on a two-year, $6 million deal on Monday that includes $3.34 million guaranteed, according to his agent. Manhertz has mostly been a blocking tight end in his NFL career, so he's unlikely to move the fantasy needle in 2023. The 30-year-old spent the last two years with the Jaguars and had a combined 12 receptions on 17 targets for 113 yards and one touchdown in 34 games (21 starts). In Denver, Greg Dulcich and Albert Okwuegbunam should be the team's top pass-catching tight ends, but Manhertz will bring a blocking presence to the position. In his seven NFL seasons, Manhertz has only 24 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns.
