Brock Wright Expected To Be Lead Tight End
2 years agoDetroit Lions tight end Brock Wright is expected to slot in as the primary receiving tight end after T.J. Hockenson was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. Wright comes into Week 9 with six receptions for 88 yards. Wright missed practice early in the week in the concussion protocol but is trending toward to be able to go. It remains to be seen what his upside is, but the Lions offense will have to continue to pass to stay in games. That said, he has value in at least tight end premium leagues if he can get enough volume to have a fantasy impact. The Green Bay Packers have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends, so he should be benched in traditional fantasy leagues in Week 9.
