Brock Purdy Tosses One Touchdown, One Pick
12 months agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy led his team to a 31-13 victory over the Seahawks in Seattle on Thanksgiving night. However, it was a lackluster performance from a fantasy perspective, as Purdy completed 21 of 30 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Purdy entered the game having just completed two consecutive three-touchdown, zero-interception games but could not replicate them against Seattle. Nor did he need to. Running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel combined for three rushing touchdowns as Purdy led a dominant offensive unit down the field almost at will in the first half. The interception occurred on what was either a very inaccurate pass or one tipped at the line and went for a pick-six. The bigger concern for Purdy managers is San Francisco's ball-carriers, who are often so deadly in the red zone that it limits Purdy's scoring opportunities. He takes on the surprisingly vulnerable Eagles defense in Philadelphia in next Sunday's blockbuster matchup.
