Brock Holt To Sign With Brewers
5 years agoUtility player Brock Holt has agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, pending a physical, MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal reported Monday night. Holt finished his seventh season with the Red Sox with a .297 batting average, 39 runs scored and 31 RBI in 259 at-bats. He figures to serve as a super-utility man for Milwaukee after starting at eight different positions for Boston a season ago. Holt likely won't draw enough starts this year for him to be much of an asset in mixed leagues, but he'll be a useful player in NL-only leagues for his positional versatility. Holt could become useful in deep mixed leagues with just one injury to a starter.
