Brian Thomas Jr. A Clear Start Despite Tough Matchup
2 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is too talented to consider benching despite a tough matchup with the Green Bay Packers. The rookie receiver may be shadowed by Jaire Alexander in Week 8, but his ability to rattle off a long touchdown at any moment is too tantalizing for fantasy managers to pass up. BTJ has surpassed 80 yards receiving in four of seven games, has four touchdowns, and has been Trevor Lawrence's most reliable target this season. He ranks as the WR6 for total points and the WR11 in fantasy points per game in half-PPR. While the tough matchup may mean BTJ should be downgraded slightly, he still should be viewed as a high-end WR2, low-end WR1 in Week 8 with a high ceiling given his big-play ability.
