3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Brian Goodwin (back) on the 10-day injured list on Sunday. The move is retroactive to September 24. Goodwin is dealing with lower back spasms. Due to the timing of the move, he is ineligible to return from the injured list during the regular season. The White Sox called up relief pitcher Matt Foster to fill his roster spot. The 30-year-old Goodwin slashed .221/.319/.374 with eight home runs, 29 RBI and 33 runs over 72 games this year. He had been operating as a reserve outfielder lately as the team has a fully healthy outfield.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
