7 years agoAdmit it - you were as skeptical as I was about Philadephia Flyers goalie Brian Elliott's ability to bounce back from his putrid Game 1 showing. Well, color me wrong. He was the complete opposite of that goalie, turning aside shot after shot. He did let one past, but we can forgive him for that - what with the Flyers already up 4-0. Ultimately, he stopped 34 of 35 shots - it's not like the defense was giving him much respite. He earned this win and some cautious optimism for a Game 3 start.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
