Brian Elliott Looks To Stay Perfect Against Islanders
4 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott will get the nod for his third start of the season on Sunday when Philly hosts the New York Islanders. The experienced netminder is off to a perfect 2-0-0 start to the year with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. The Flyers have won three in a row, while the Isles have gone cold with four consecutive defeats, which makes Elliott a great choice in goal for fantasy managers on Sunday night. Ilya Sorokin is expected to be the Isles' starter and he's winless in the NHL so far in two outings with a 3.57 goals-against average and a .875 save percentage.
