Brian Dozier Collects Three Hits on Wednesday
6 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Brian Dozier showed signs of life on Wednesday, going 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Milwaukee Brewers. Dozier was one of the only players in the lineup to have success against Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff, and it was a welcoming sign for the veteran, who has gotten off to a terrible start in his first year with Washington. Dozier will need to have more games like this if he wants to get back to playing in an everyday role for the Nats. The three-hit day raised his batting average to a disappointing .196.
