Brian Anderson Takes A Seat Sunday
2 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Washington Nationals. Anderson has gone 4-for-14 (.286) with a homer and two RBI in five games since returning from the injured list, and he's now hitting .269/.374/.420 with three home runs, eight RBI, 23 runs scored and a stolen base in 37 games for the Fish in 2022. Anderson should at least see semi-regular playing time at the hot corner for Miami moving forward. Luke Williams is manning the hot corner on Sunday and is hitting ninth against Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde. Williams will be a low-upside DFS play, as he's hitting .233 (10-for-43) on the season with no home runs, four RBI and three stolen bases.
